Rustic Charm

Quietly Refined

Amid the soft landscapes of the Swedish countryside lies Kuseboholm’s Granary - a century-old grain store from 1903, thoughtfully restored into a guesthouse that balances rustic charm with understated elegance.

The Granary

Step inside to a thoughtfully restored space — contemporary in comfort yet true to the building’s heritage. On the ground floor, the open-plan kitchen and dining area flow into a warm, inviting living room centred around a fireplace. Large windows look out towards the terrace, where an open-fire cooking area and long dining table invite suppers beneath the wide Nordic sky, as fallow deer and mouflon sheep graze nearby.

A short path from the terrace leads to the wood-fired sauna and outdoor shower — a place to unwind after a swim or a day spent exploring the countryside.

The ground floor also offers two double bedrooms and two bathrooms, while the original timber staircase rises to six further bedrooms and a shared bathroom, each space quietly echoing the granary’s rustic past.

Here, rustic heritage meets Nordic refinement — simplicity becomes luxury, and every detail feels considered. Stay privately, or under the hosting of Michelin-recognised Restaurant Jord, where season and landscape shape each moment.
